In a fun twist to a typical Friday evening training session, Bedford Tigers host a Inter Club Tournament at Bedford Academy.
This Friday saw the joining of age groups from 8 years old, all the way up to 16, working together with mixed teams competing against each other in traditional netball games …with a twist.
Led by Coaches Caz and Yessi, teams earned points through play, score and teamwork culminating in a Final where we saw ‘Blacks’ face-off against ‘Purple’.

Despite a close game the victors were the ‘Blacks’ coming through to the final after a winning a narrow shoot-out against ‘Reds’.

It was a welcomed change to a typical training session and great to see all the Club girls come together throughout the age groups, with experienced players sharing their knowledge with some of our more ‘tiny tigers’.

It was a rare opportunity to appreciate the range of girls we have at the club, from different age groups, different backgrounds and all areas of our local community, all coming together and bonding through Netball!
